On Thursday September 24, 2026 I had the pleasure of hosting an intimate Multiplex Home Builder Roundtable at The Arbutus Club, bringing together Mayor Ken Sim and a group of builders and industry professionals for a conversation about multiplex housing and development in Vancouver.
The goal was simple: bring people working directly in the multiplex space around one table to share perspectives, ask questions and have an open conversation about what we are experiencing on the ground.
The discussion touched on the opportunities and challenges facing Vancouver’s evolving multiplex housing sector, with participants sharing valuable insights from their own areas of expertise.
One of the best outcomes of the afternoon was the conversation that continued after the event. Several attendees expressed interest in getting together again, reinforcing how valuable it can be to create opportunities for people across the industry to connect and learn from one another.
