My first experience with The Real Estate Sisters — Maria and Joanna Kritikos — was an unusual one. I needed to find a home in Vancouver, but I was part-way through a two-month trip to India and Nepal. I found “the one” when I was in the middle of a trek to Everest base camp and about to be without cell phone service for several days. Reason to worry? You bet. But did I need to? No. I had full trust in Maria, who’d been willing to talk to me via phone at crazy hours, taken my family and friends through the condo I wanted to buy, and painstakingly gone through and summarized documents I couldn’t open given the terrible wifi. When I finally got service again, I found out my offer had been accepted.
I have since used The Sisters two more times: to purchase a larger home (when, once again, I was out of town for the final negotiations) and to sell my old one, once the purchase had gone through. I can’t speak highly enough about the work they do.
I first discovered The Real Estate Sisters online. I signed up for their service, which sent listings that met my search criteria directly to me via email. Within a few weeks, Maria had reached out to me to see if she could offer any more help. I didn’t need it then, but I did eventually.
Maria and Joanna were both fantastic to deal with. They made the process of buying and selling as stress-free as it can possibly be. They were open and candid about their strategies, which made me feel much more confident about the process. When I was selling, for example, I’d get detailed summaries about each of the potential buyers — and they were also available and willing to answer any questions I had. I was never made to feel like an inconvenience. In fact, I always felt like a priority, despite the fact they were juggling multiple clients at the same time.
I would recommend The Real Estate Sisters to anyone.
