My first experience with The Real Estate Sisters — Maria and Joanna Kritikos — was an unusual one. I needed to find a home in Vancouver, but I was part-way through a two-month trip to India and Nepal. I found “the one” when I was in the middle of a trek to Everest base camp and about to be without cell phone service for several days. Reason to worry? You bet. But did I need to? No. I had full trust in Maria, who’d been willing to talk to me via phone at crazy hours, taken my family and friends through the condo I wanted to buy, and painstakingly gone through and summarized documents I couldn’t open given the terrible wifi.
